The pilot project for integrating asylum-seekers into the tourism industry was developed as part of a research and innovation initiative in collaboration with the Ministère de l’Emploi et de la Solidarité sociale. Its aim was to promote networking between asylum-seekers seeking employment in Canada and tourism businesses looking for workers to fill vacant positions.
